Crap Hair

Crap Hair

Inspired by harry and his hair.
On some reflection, I've decided that the hair is actually not even crap, just mediocre. I can't even manage crapness, I just have this sort of bland little pony-tail going on. Internets, I am ashamed of myself for being so bloody dull.
For truly crap hair I'd have to scan in a picture of myself circa 1990. Now that was some bad hair I had going on then, but since my scanner is busted you'll all just have to imagine it.
Looks okay to me...
I had my hair cut today.

Aye, looks fine to me as well. Still, nothing suits a head like a nice, round, floppy felt hat. Consider a beret?

Everyone should wear them, I should add. Even if you've got hair as good as Kate's.

Blimey, you do look like your gravatar. I thought I was the only one. Hair looks fine. Better than mine, anyway. Which is a low hurdle, I admit.

Liam, I have to admit, I look really bad in a beret, otherwise I'd be there.
Fyodor, Kim also looks like her gravatar, I have seen the evidence. (I must inquire, how do you keep your hair so... upright?)

It's the force of my stupendously masculine IQ electrifying the hair follicles, Kate.
I have also seen Kim's "evidence", and I dare say the gravy doesn't do her justice.

I'd agree with that. Kim is the hotness. (And I'm not just saying that because she's a senior representative in the Naked Feminist World Domination Knitting Circle and I am not worthy.)
Posted by: Kate | August 27, 2005 at 12:08 PM
You're worthy, you're worthy.
* remembers Wayne & Garth moment *
"Whoah, extreme closeup!!!"
Forgive my reckless impertinence, Kate, but how is it that Kim's a Grander Poobah than you when she can't knit? Being practical womenfolk, shouldn't skillz to pay the billz be the key criterion for promotion?

You're prettier than the gravitar, Kate. And I too can attest to Kim's remarkable beauty.

I spent the 80s having bad perms until I embraced the ultra-straight hair that is the real me. I am the polar opposite of Curl. My sole consolation is that women now spend a lot of time with iron thingies trying to get my look. I wish the rest of me could be that cool.
Posted by: Ampersandduck | August 28, 2005 at 10:48 AM
Me too. My hair is so straight that the walls are jealous.
Posted by: Kate | August 28, 2005 at 10:53 AM
Oh, and thanks CL.

Kate, is your bathroom modelled on the BB House by any chance?
Posted by: Mark Bahnisch | August 28, 2005 at 11:46 AM
Well, apart from the cameras everywhere, no...
Posted by: Kate | August 28, 2005 at 12:12 PM
I like your hair Kate!
And thanks everyone for the kind comments - particularly Kate who hasn't even seen the ... ahem ... less modest photos.
Posted by: Kim | August 28, 2005 at 12:17 PM
Ps - And thanks for not reminding me that I'm a camera whore!

Here's a trackback for m2m.

Kim's link above is to a post that's been hit by the mysterious LP comments posting loop. It's now here:

But we're still working on enabling comments for the post.

Kate, you are definitely a cute girl, and worthy of sharing hotness titles with Kim (although the less modest pics perhaps give her the edge).

"Kate, you are definitely a cute girl, and worthy of sharing hotness titles with Kim".
That goes without saying!

If I'd realised I was going to get so many hits by putting up pictures of half my face I'd have done it ages ago. Imagine the power of my whole head!
Posted by: Kate | August 29, 2005 at 04:33 PM
Kate, post it sister!
Of course you are the hotness!
ps - if you want to see the "less modest" photos, you know my email addy.

Ps - Kate, hope we haven't imported the LP style discourse of flirting, obsessing over sex and hotness here against your will!
Posted by: Kim | August 29, 2005 at 09:07 PM
However, I am an inveterately flirty commenter, Kate, so I give you due warning :)
Ps - can we have gravvies, please? I feel headless.
Also, a link at the bottom of the page to previous posts would be really good. You mentioned at LP that a post on abortion didn't cause controversy, but I'm not easily able to find it the way the site is configured at the moment.
Posted by: Kim | August 29, 2005 at 09:09 PM
Okay, I'll see what I can do to make the site easier to navigate. I'm not sure if Typepad supports gravatars so I can't make any promises...
